Disbound. Engraved. Some browning and foxing especially to the margins of the final leaf. With extensive contemporary performance annotations to pp.2, 3 and 39-42 and some later pencil markings to other pages; including the addition of a great deal of contemporary ornamentation and the addition of the suboctave to most of the left hand part. Most likely the first issue of Smith's "no.7" as only p.16 has been re-engraved in this copy in comparison with four others that we have seen. |
