Single sheet, mounted. Four small worm holes (to image and mount). Line engraving by Houbraken after a portrait by Godfrey Kneller (1646-1723): Dryden is depicted head and shoulders, facing his left with head turned towards the viewer, set within a roundel surrounded by drapery, with books, mask, olive branch and lyre beneath. |
