Plain boards. Tears to margins at plate marks (one or two outer margins lacking), final leaf laid down. Engraved. With pictorial frontispiece of a woman playing a pipe organ set in an oval surrounded by instruments with the imprint "Printed for J. Walsh and J. Hare". With the ownership bookplate and initial stamp of Alfred Cortot (1877-1962); from the collection of Christopher Hogwood (1941-2014). |
