Single sheet (torn at left hand margin, not affecting text). Autograph manuscript sketch leaf comprising fifteen bars written in brown ink on up to five staves. Annotated "Final (1er Acte) francaise" being a sketch for the finale of the first act of the French version; this is the only work which Offenbach wrote in two different languages – German and French. The opera remains incomplete. |
