Description |
Disbound, sewn. Highly attractive title-page with putti, dragons, foliage and fountains from the mouths of serpents. Engraved. Giordani was very involved in the theatre music world firstly in London, with the Italian Opera in the 1770s as well as directing at the King’s theatre, and later in Dublin. He composed much music for the pleasure gardens at Vauxhall and a large quantity of keyboard and "accompaniment" works. |
