Half vellum with marbled boards. Some thumbing. Engraved. Libretto by Giovanni Emmanuele Bidera. This volume does not contain an overall title as is made of single printings mainly comprising Ricordi's edition of 1835 (with the relevant blank versos); the opening overture, the duetto ("Oh! vergogna"), the cavatina ("Qui un pugnale!"), and the finale to Act 2 are from the edition published in Chiasso by Stamperia l'Euterpe Ticinese in 1834. |
