Gilt wood frame with pale blue-coloured card mount, glazed. A sheet music cover from a published individual work (Jullien's Masaniello Quadrille) with pictorial chromolithograph title after Brandard. The quadrille was published in 1849 in the year that Dorus-Gras and Mario performed in Auber's Masaniello at the Royal Italian Opera season at Covent Garden. |
