Affixed to a larger limp sheet. Imprint removed from the image. Stipple engraving by Mary Ann Rigg after the portrait by Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788). Stanley is depicted half-length, facing partly to his left, wearing an unbuttoned jacket, buttoned waistcoat, necktie and wig. |
